Jin Shin Jyutsu® (pronounced “jit-su”) is a gentle touch therapy firmly rooted in ancient healing traditions. This restorative technique draws on the universal flow of energy to bring the body, mind and spirit into balance.

 Jin Shin Jyutsu has several research studies validating its ability to:

* Reduce stress, anxiety and headaches

* Boost the immune system

* Improve circulation and breathing

* Aid digestive issues

* Ease back pain, spasms and cramps

* Jumpstart creativity

* Promote better sleep

JSJ offers a viable alternative for people who are unable or disinclined to use massage. During sessions, the client lies fully clothed on a massage table. JSJ does not involve pressure or manipulation of muscles, both of which are contraindicated for some health conditions. Typically, a JSJ session lasts one hour, but it can vary depending of the presenting issues.

Following a session, the practitioner teaches simple self-help. These techniques prolong the effectiveness of treatments, provide ongoing help with symptoms and empower clients to take an active role in improving their own health.

JSJ works as an excellent adjunct to other therapies or medications for people of all ages and states of health. It also helps mitigate the impact of acute and chronic conditions.
